This Vintage Liberty Metals Incorporated 1 oz 999 Fine Silver Round features a quote by Jean-Jacques Rousseau on its design. With a composition of silver and a fineness of 0.999, this round is a valuable addition to any precious metal collection. Produced in the United States by Liberty Metals Incorporated, this round contains 1 oz of pure silver, making it a sought-after item for silver enthusiasts and investors alike. There seems to be a few variations of this round. At the time of posting, this was the only one I could find that had the Smooth Feather with the word “incorporated” at the bottom instead of the stars. Usually you find this round with the smooth feathered cap and stars at the bottom. Or a detailed feathered cap with the word incorporated at the bottom. This one seems to be a unique combination of the two. All of the photos are of the exact same piece. I simply moved a piece of black felt around the coin to give it different shading, so you could get a better feel for details. Thanks for having a look. No hard feelings if you pass. Originating from Reno, Nevada, this piece is a remarkable addition to any collection or investment portfolio. The bar features the renowned Metalrex brand, synonymous with quality and craftsmanship in the precious metals industry. Metalrex was founded in Reno, Nevada in 1969 and was operational until around 1993. The hallmark features an oval with the company name, Reno, Nevada, and 999 at center. Ernst Karl Kleespies received his degree in Metallurgical Engineering at the University of Arizona, Tucson. Ernie worked for the U. Bureau of Mines in Boulder City, NV then, in 1966 was transferred to the Reno, NV branch. In 1969 he founded Metalrex, which specialized in metals research and development. Metalrex looks to have closed in 1993 with the sell off of their equipment. Ernst passed away in October of 2009 at the age of 77.
