The reverse design stamps the Bald Eagle, depicted as flying with soaring wings. Its feathers are colored with the national flag’s stripes and stars, colored with its red-blue-white pattern. The eagle’s torso remained a monochromatic silver and received engravings that read “AMERICA THE FREE, ” “2 OZ 999.9 AG, ” standing for the series name and the coin’s weight, purity, and metal content. The obverse is all covered with a pattern of stars. The inscription of the coin’s four-digit serial number is on top.
