This newest member of the series is a 1 oz of. 999 fine silver round. The round commemorates the King of Sparta and legendary warrior of ancient Greece. Known for his bravery and leadership, Leonidas I led a small but elite force of Spartan warriors against the vast Persian army at the Battle of Thermopylae in 480 BCE. Through strategic positioning and unwavering discipline, he and his men held off the invaders, exemplifying the Spartan code of valor and sacrifice. Though he fell in battle, his heroism became a symbol of resistance and inspired future generations in the defense of Greek independence. Ungraded or raw bullion products are carefully made to retain the natural appearance of precious metals. However, these characteristics do not affect the value of the items.
